Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, continue with their separate schedules, fueling speculation about a possible crisis in their relationship.
The last time they were seen together in public was during their trip to Colombia. Although they made a video appearance weeks later, royal fans continue to talk about a possible crisis in their relationship.
Recently, the rumors have taken a new turn with the news that both Harry and Meghan plan to continue their individual activities.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle separated
According to People magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have appearances scheduled for next week, but on different coasts.
Harry will join Andrew Ross Sorkin for a conversation at the New York Times DealBook Conference on Wednesday, December 4, in New York City.
Meghan, meanwhile, will attend the Paley Honors 2024 Fall Gala in Los Angeles the same day, where she is expected to honor Tyler Perry with the Paley Honors Award—the Paley Center for Media’s highest honor.
Although both were part of the host committee for their friend Perry, only Meghan will be present at the event.
These separate appearances by Harry and Meghan on opposite coasts on December 4 reflect their new dynamic.
A friend commented to People magazine in October that their relationship resembles “a two-track approach.”
Prince Harry is focusing on his philanthropic efforts, while Meghan is leaning toward entrepreneurial projects and business ventures. However, they continue to collaborate on several joint projects.
As a royal source noted, “The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals—not just as a couple.”
He also added, “The Duke appears focused on his patronage work, and the Duchess focused on her entrepreneurial track.” However, the source emphasized, “But there will be joint efforts around those cause-driven areas of work.”
So, while the rumors continue, it appears that Harry and Meghan are finding their own paths, both individually and together.
