Prince Harry had a bad start to the new year after he and his wife Meghan Markle were the subject of teasing at the Golden Globes.
However, all indications are that things will get better and he will receive recognition from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Prince Harry at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards
The son of King Charles will be honored in Beverly Hills on January 19 at the 21st annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards, hosted by famed actor John Travolta.
The event honors those who have made significant contributions to the field of aerospace.
Harry is an experienced helicopter pilot who has contributed to training and combat missions in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Afghanistan.
His dedication to aviation led him to be awarded the best co-pilot gunner and to be fully operational in the Apache aircraft.
He is also known as the creator of the Invictus Games, an athletic competition for veterans and wounded service members.
Living Legends of Aviation highlights this latter accomplishment as one of the reasons they are recognizing Harry at their annual event.
