Prince Harry has made a much-anticipated return to the United Kingdom, and this time, he’s back for a cause that holds a special place in his heart.
On September 30, the Duke of Sussex stepped out in London to attend the annual WellChild Awards, an event dedicated to honoring the incredible bravery of seriously ill children and their caregivers.

For the past 16 years, Harry has served as the patron of WellChild, and this charity has remained a vital part of his life since he stepped back from royal duties in January 2020.
As he prepares to meet with the inspiring award winners and their families during a pre-ceremony reception, Harry looks forward to celebrating their achievements at the main event. The evening is set to be star-studded, featuring appearances by singer Sir Rod Stewart and TV presenter Kate Garraway.
The WellChild Awards are not just about glitz and glamour; they highlight the resilience of children battling serious health challenges and the dedication of the people who care for them, from parents to healthcare professionals.
During the ceremony, Harry will present the award for the Most Inspirational Child, specifically for ages 4 to 6, and he is also set to deliver a heartfelt speech.
This year, Harry is attending the event solo, as his wife, Meghan Markle, is in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
This trip follows a busy schedule that recently took Harry to New York City, where he supported several of his charities.
It should be noted that, the Duke of Sussex has no plans to see the King, or the Prince of Wales, while in London for WellChild.
