Prince Harry returned to New York City on Sept. 22, stepping out solo to continue his commitment to several philanthropic causes.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, attended a significant dinner hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) focused on addressing “Violence against children and its impact on mental health.”

The event, held during the UN General Assembly’s High-level Week, attracted notable attendees such as Queen Mathilde of Belgium and actor Forest Whitaker.
This marks Harry’s first trip to New York since October 2023, when he was in the city with his wife, Meghan Markle, for World Mental Health Day events.
According to his spokesperson, the Duke’s current visit is aimed at advancing various patronages and philanthropic projects. Among them are African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst, all initiatives Harry has long supported. Additionally, his work with the Archewell Foundation, which he co-founded with Meghan in 2020, remains a central focus of his visit.
Harry’s current visit coincides with Climate Week, running from Sept. 22 to 29, and High-level Week at the UN, which takes place from Sept. 23 to 27.
Amid his trip, there was speculation about whether Harry might cross paths with his brother, Prince William, whose Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit is scheduled for Sept. 24 at the Plaza Hotel. However, it has since been confirmed that William will not be attending this year, putting to rest rumors of a potential family reunion during the trip.
