Prince Harry couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he attended the U.S. Grand Prix on Sunday, Oct. 22, but he was without his wife Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex, was spotted taking a peek backstage at the Mercedes garage in Austin, Texas.

The son of King Charles III was all smiles in the Mercedes AMG Petronas garage where he chatted for several minutes with engineers and later with team principal Toto Wolff.
Harry was also spotted in the garage of Red Bull Racing, a team run by Christian Horner, husband of Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.
Many users on social networks highlighted that, despite being American, Meghan was not at the Circuit of the Americas with her husband.
The Duke of Sussex wore jeans, a black polo shirt and sunglasses and was attentive to the race in which Max Verstappen took the victory over Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris.
The Duke’s F1 visit comes after he and Meghan returned from a romantic Caribbean getaway on Canouan Island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Last October 10, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hosted an event at their Archewell Foundation in New York for World Mental Health Day, making his appearance at the US GP 2023 the first public event he has attended since then.
How many times has Prince Harry attended F1?
Although not a regular F1 attendee, Prince Harry has been a fan for years.
He went to the 1994 UK Grand Prix with his mother, the late Princess Diana. He attended the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as a guest. In 2020, one of his last royal engagements was to open the Silverstone Museum with driver Lewis Hamilton.
