The recent interview given by Prince Harry continues to give some news to cut. The grandson of Queen Elizabeth, spoke about his relationship with his grandmother, his mother and his brother, with the latter everything seems to indicate that they are still more distant than ever.
Harry revealed how his mother, Princess Diana is still present in his life especially in the last two years.
“My mother’s presence is constant. It has been for the last two years. More than ever. And it’s almost like she’s done her part with my brother and now she’s helping me a lot. She’s helping me prepare. I have my kids, you know the circumstances are obviously different. But now I feel his presence in almost everything I do now. But definitely more in the last couple of years than ever before. Without a doubt. So she’s looking out for us,” Harry assured host Hoda Kotb.
Other statements that generated multiple reactions in England have to do with his grandmother, with whom he met a few days ago. Harry said he wanted to make sure that his grandmother is surrounded by the right people, he did not clarify who would be -in his opinion- the least suitable to be close to the Queen but the British press went ahead to say that he was clearly referring to his father, Prince Charles and his brother.
“Being with her was great, it was really nice to see her, she’s in great shape. She’s always had a great sense of humor and I just make sure she’s protected and has the right people around her. Both Meghan and I had tea with her, so it was really nice to catch up.”
What did Prince Harry say about his brother William?
When asked if he misses royal life, his brother and the British royal family, Harry’s answer made it clear that between him and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, things are far from settled.
“Right now, I’m here focused on these guys and these families and giving everything I can, 120 percent, to make sure they have the experience of a lifetime. That’s my goal here. And when I leave here, I’ll come back and focus on my family, who I miss very much,” Harry said in reference to his children Archie and Lilibet.
Instead of generating empathy, Harry was once again the target of attacks from the press and followers of the royal family. Royal experts called his statements “delusional”.
