Prince Harry has something in mind. According to sources cited by British media, the Duke of Sussex plans to invite King Charles and Prince William to the opening ceremony of the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham from July 12 to 17.
Harry has reportedly already approved the text and recipients of the invitations, which will begin to be sent out this month by email.

If confirmed, it would be the first public gesture of rapprochement toward his family since the break with the Royal Family more than five years ago.
The date, however, is not straightforward. The event coincides with Queen Camilla’s 80th birthday, preparations for which are already underway, which could influence the palace’s response.
Even so, people close to the Duke point out that this attempt at rapprochement could be seen as an opportunity to repair the relationship.
“This is one olive branch from him that might be reciprocated,” a source told the Daily Mail, noting that the royal family has always supported the Invictus Games and recognized Harry’s role in their creation.
Although it is unknown whether Meghan Markle and their children will accompany him, there are obstacles that complicate his return to the United Kingdom.
Harry has made it clear that they will not travel without full police security, something that was denied after he lost his appeal this year.
Meanwhile, some analysts agree that the king still wants to reconnect with his son, but mistrust remains.
“The only reason the King is wary… is that he no longer trusts him not to repeat their private conversations,” explained royal author Ingrid Seward.
Despite this, Harry seems determined to look ahead: “Forgiveness is 100% a possibility because I would like to get my father and brother back.”
