Prince Harry supposedly invited Prince William and the rest of the Royal Family to the Invictus Games service happening this week.
However, it appears that nobody has replied to his invitation.
Prince Harry Invites Royals to Invictus Games
Prince Harry is scheduled to travel from California to London next week for an Invictus Games service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8th.
He will be going alone without his wife, Meghan Markle, for the 10th anniversary of the games that he started in 2014.
According to reports, no senior members of the Royal Family are expected to attend the event at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday.
This is happening while his father, King Charles, and sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales, are both receiving cancer treatment.
A source told Page Six that “Harry had invited William” along with “other members” of the family to the service, but apparently, “there has been no response”.
As Harry gets ready to celebrate his son Archie’s 5th birthday, he is preparing for a solo trip to the UK before going to Nigeria with Meghan later in the month.
There is talk about whether Prince Harry will reunite with his brother, Prince William, amid claims from an insider who told the Mirror that the relationship between the two is “remains extremely fractured”.
The source added: “Harry has privately expressed a wish to sit down with his brother but now is not the time.”
Prince Harry is scheduled to arrive in London on Tuesday for a three-day visit.
This will be his second trip to the UK this year, following a quick stop in February to see his father a day after the news that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.
The Duke is expected to meet with his father again, with King Charles making time in his schedule to see his younger son.
An insider revealed: “Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can. He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned.”
Various reports suggest that King Charles plans to invite his son and daughter-in-law to Balmoral Castle in Scotland this summer so he can spend time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
