Prince Harry has made it clear that he no longer follows the traditional rules that once defined his public life.
This time, the Duke of Sussex surprised everyone by appearing on the popular American show The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, but it wasn’t a formal interview like the ones we’re used to seeing.
Instead of sitting on the typical set couch, Harry joined Fallon for a daring tour of a tunnel of terror in the heart of New York, just in time for Halloween celebrations.

The appearance, part of one of the show’s sketches, showed a much more relaxed and fun-loving Harry, in stark contrast to his more serious and reserved image of recent years.
The scene, filmed at Rockefeller Center, showed the two wearing chest cameras that captured every reaction, from scares to laughter.
Fallon, known for his ability to make anything go viral, asked Harry if he was someone who scares easily, to which the prince humorously replied, “No, but this time may be different.”
A far cry from the in-depth, headline-laden interviews Harry has given in the past, such as the famous conversation with Oprah Winfrey or his promotion of the autobiography Spare, this appearance was more light-hearted.
While there were no major revelations about his personal life, the mere fact that he was encouraged to participate in this type of sketch seems to be more of a nod to his growing celebrity life.
Throughout the tour, Harry showed a side of himself that we rarely see: someone who is not afraid to let loose and, in fact, even let out the occasional expletive as a result of the scares he got.
This kind of participation, while different, shows that Harry is comfortable in his new life away from royal protocol, defying recent speculation that he might be looking to return to life in the British royal family.
