Meghan Markle may be home in California, but her heart is clearly with Prince Harry this Valentine’s Day.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to her newly launched Instagram account to share an intimate, never-before-seen black-and-white photo of herself and Harry, 40.

The candid moment, captured over a meal, shows the couple sharing a kiss.
Meghan posted the photo alongside a heartfelt message expressing how much she misses her husband, who is currently in Canada for the Invictus Games.
“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families,” she wrote. “Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.”
In a tender tribute, she added, “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.” She ended the post with the hashtag #lovewins and signed off with, “As ever, M.”
Prince Harry, who founded the Invictus Games in 2014, has been in Canada overseeing the latest edition of the competition for wounded service personnel and veterans.
Meghan joined him at the opening ceremony and attended several events, but had to return to California to care for their children Archie and Lilibet, as we reported here on RoyalFamily.News.
While they are spending Valentine’s Day apart, Meghan and Harry managed to celebrate a few days early.
On February 10, they were spotted enjoying a double date with singer Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, at Il Caminetto, an Italian restaurant in Whistler.
According to reports, Meghan marked the occasion by wearing diamond earrings that were a Valentine’s gift from Harry last year.
