Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have drawn widespread admiration online after fans highlighted a heartfelt moment shared between them during a recent trip to Nigeria.
On the occasion of their sixth wedding anniversary which was celebrated last May 19, Harry and Meghan, who have resided in California with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, since 2020, embarked on a major visit to Nigeria in May.

They were invited by the country’s chief of defense staff, largely because of Harry’s pivotal role as founder and sponsor of the Invictus Games, in which Nigeria will participate for the first time in 2023.
Throughout their three-day visit, the couple participated in various Invictus-related activities, meeting veterans and connecting with charities linked to the sporting tournament.
In addition, they participated in broader philanthropic initiatives and attended official receptions hosted by local authorities to honor their presence.
A particularly poignant moment occurred during an evening reception in Abuja on May 11.
Media cameras captured an endearing interaction between the couple, which fans have since highlighted on social media.
On May 18, TikTok user @meghmarkle posted images showing Harry walking on stage and offering a sweet gesture to Meghan.
Upon seeing his empty hand, he held out Meghan’s, gently guiding her as she walked up a short flight of steps. Meghan then paused, waiting for Harry to join her on the platform.
The TikTok post, titled “I need him,” has received more than 98,000 likes and numerous comments praising the couple’s public displays of affection.
One user commented, “Notice the way he reached for her, then she reached back for him. Love is a union,” while another commented, ‘We all need a Harry.’ Another commented, “You can tell they are so caring with each other behind the scenes. It’s like even their bodies are in sync. Natural with each other.”
Their visit to Nigeria prompted a flurry of posts and videos on social media, many of them focused on the couple’s affectionate moments and interactions with the local community.
While the trip was generally well-received, it raised some blisters in Britain due to its resemblance to an official royal tour, a role Harry and Meghan stepped down from performing for the UK government or monarchy after ceasing to be serving royals in 2020.
