Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, 38, held a video call with the winners of the WellChild Awards 2022, there he revealed unpublished details of his children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, he also talked about his real name.
Harry and Meghan suspended their participation in this event held in England because it coincided with the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The WellChild is a recognition of an organization that focuses on supporting children with serious illnesses.
What did Prince Harry say about Archie and Lilibet?
The son of Charles III has met by Zoom from his villa in Montecito with the patients who have won this year the awards of the organization he sponsors.
In the conversation Prince Harry has told some hitherto unknown details of his children, Archie and Lilibet.
“Archie is very busy and Lili is learning to use her voice, which is great,” said the Duke of Sussex when asked about where the youngest of the house were.
He also mentioned that Archie is very curious and is going through the stage of asking lots of questions.
However, his references to Lilibet and Archie didn’t stop there, as upon hearing the voice of a four-year-old named Henry Waines, the Duke of Sussex exclaimed:
“You sound just like my son Archie… You have the same squeaky little voice. I love it.”
In another of their conversations, Prince Harry was able to speak with Shakeerah Crowther, a ten-year-old boy who participated in the call with a giant giraffe-shaped balloon that caught the Duke of Sussex’s attention and reminded him of his son:
“Archie has also had a giraffe for a long time, we call it Gerald.”
He also made reference to how busy life was at home, “with five children,” alluding to Archie and Lilibet and the three pets.
“We all need a dog to convey calm. In this house we have three. Basically it’s like we have five children. I have a black Labrador named Pula and two adopted beagles, Guy and Mia. All three of them run around chasing squirrels and are messing around all day, but they also give us tremendous emotional support.”
