Prince Harry will return to England in September to attend the annual WellChild charity event. The Duke of Sussex will travel alone as his wife Meghan Markle will not accompany him.
Growing tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family mean Harry’s travel plans are under intense scrutiny.

Meghan Markle will not accompany Harry to the UK
Meghan Markle will not accompany Prince Harry on his trip to the United Kingdom. Sources claim that the Duchess will stay in California taking care of Archie and Lilibet.
Once again, Harry will travel alone to the UK without his wife. He had already done it this year to attend the trial against the British press.
The last time the couple traveled together to the UK was in April 2022 for a secret visit to the Queen and then in September 2022 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Sussexes and tensions with the Royal Family
Harry’s solo travel plans come amid ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family.
Some sources believe that the royal family has made no effort to invite Harry to events commemorating the anniversary of the Queen’s death.
According to a source consulted by The Sun, there has been no approach from the royal family towards Harry and Meghan.
Meghan Markle to join Harry in Germany
Following Harry’s solo visit to the UK, Meghan will fly from California to Germany to join him at the Invictus Games.
Meghan will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony on Sept. 9 and will reportedly speak about “courage and resilience” to wounded veteran competitors.
The Invictus Games has been one of Harry’s major post-royalty projects. This sporting event highlights his lifelong commitment to veterans and members of the armed forces.
