There are news stories that surprise even those of us who closely follow the lives of the Windsors, and this is one of them. It turns out that a woman labeled as a “stalker” of Prince Harry was discovered hiding in the bathrooms of the Royal Lancaster Hotel, just twenty minutes before he arrived to attend the WellChild Awards in London.
What’s unusual is that, according to the information, the woman was found muttering strange phrases about Harry in the ladies’ room, which set off the security alarms.
The woman was evicted just before the Duke arrived, and to make matters worse, she was photographed next to his car, as reported by The Sun.
The most unsettling part is that the episode didn’t end there. Just two days later, Harry’s team had to physically block the woman at the exit of Imperial College, where the prince was visiting the Center for Explosion Injury Studies.
According to a cited testimony, there was no police presence or nearby protection at the time, so two members of his office had to intervene directly. “This time they got lucky,” a source commented, making it clear that the situation could have ended much worse.
It is said that the woman has mental health issues and is on a list of “obsessive individuals” identified by the Duke’s private security team.
It wouldn’t be the first time she followed him: she reportedly did so during his trip to Nigeria with Meghan last year.
The coincidence is concerning, especially considering that Harry no longer has automatic police protection in the UK since he ceased to be an active member of the royal family.
This type of incident reveals the prince’s vulnerability, as he continues to face real risks despite his fame and private security.
