The year 2023 was a very special one for Prince William and Princess Kate, who shared with their Instagram followers a video of highlights from their life as members of the British royal family.
The video, set to the song “As It Was” by Harry Styles, features scenes from the coronation of King Charles III, William’s father and the new monarch of the United Kingdom, as well as other important events in which the Princes of Wales participated.

- Kate’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, playing the piano.
- The BAFTA Awards and greeting the nation from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
The video also features intimate footage of the royal couple with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as they prepare for the historic coronation ceremony.
The video is a tribute to the year William officially became heir to the British throne and the work he and his wife Kate do on behalf of the Crown.
In the release, the royal couple took the opportunity to thank those who have followed them closely over the past year.
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our year”, reads the message, published a few days before the end of 2023.
