Princess Kate’s affectionate gestures towards Prince William have been praised by fans after a video captured during King Charles III’s coronation celebrations in 2023 resurfaced on TikTok.
Public interest in the relationship of the Prince and Princess of Wales has grown in recent years, especially with the dramatization of their love story in the latest season of the Netflix series “The Crown,” released in late 2023.
William and Kate met in 2001 while they were both undergraduates at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
Soon after, they began dating, and their relationship became public in 2004 when the British press obtained photos of them skiing together.
The couple announced their engagement in 2010 and married a year later at Westminster Abbey in London. This April, William and Kate celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.
Since the beginning of this year, Kate has stayed away from public life due to health problems.
In March, she announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was recommended to undergo preventative chemotherapy treatment.
In the absence of further appearances from the royal couple, fans have taken to social media to share highlights of past engagements and their favorite public gestures of affection.

TikTok user @kittywaless recently uploaded a video showing William and Kate interacting with members of the local community in Windsor, Berkshire, England, before the coronation concert honoring Charles and Queen Camilla. The video has been praised for its affectionate nature.
In the footage, Kate can be seen repeatedly placing her hand comfortingly on her husband’s back as they converse with people gathered at Windsor Castle’s Long Walk.
At some points, the prince also returns the gesture, and social media users noted this public display of affection.
With the caption “clinginess was turned up at this event,” the video on TikTok has received nearly 7,000 “likes” and numerous comments, many of which have praised the couple.
“They give each other energetic support,” wrote one user. “They have such cute separation anxiety from each other,” posted another, while an additional comment read, ”That shows how loving they are with each other.”
