Prince William attended the Centrepoint Awards, a very special event for him because of his close connection to his late mother, Princess Diana.
On October 16th in London, the 42-year-old Prince of Wales helped give out awards for this organization that’s all about helping young people get back on their feet after being homeless.
Centrepoint supports thousands of young people every year, giving them a place to stay, teaching them valuable life skills, helping with their mental and physical health, and supporting them to get an education or a job.

At the awards ceremony, they celebrated the amazing achievements of young people who have turned their lives around after being homeless.
The winners and finalists have shown incredible courage, resilience, and determination as they’ve made great strides in their careers and personal lives.
Prince William presented awards in six different categories, showing how important this issue is to him.
Homelessness has been a big concern for Prince William since he was a kid. His mom, Princess Diana, took him and his brother Harry to a homeless shelter when they were young, so they could see firsthand the challenges people face.
Since then, William has been working hard to raise awareness about homelessness.
In June 2023, he launched the “Homewards” campaign with the goal of ending homelessness completely.
