Despite the cancer that Kate Middleton is bravely facing and the intense treatment she is undergoing, joy still reigns in the house of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Prince William and Kate Middleton strive to ensure that the difficult situation they are going through does not affect their children too much, and seek to enjoy happy family moments whenever they can.
Prince William’s Birthday Photo
This Friday, in honor of Prince William’s 42nd birthday, Kensington Palace shared a fun, unpublished photo of him and his children George, Charlotte and Louis, all enjoying a day at the beach.
As usual, the one in charge of immortalizing the moment was the Princess of Wales.
The photograph shows William and his children jumping happily on a beach in Norfolk County.
Accompanying the photograph, an affectionate message reads, “Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx.” The “C” represents Catherine, who took the photo and wrote the message, while the “X” symbolizes a kiss.
Taking a closer look at the image, numerous charming details can be seen.
William and George are the only ones looking directly at the camera, capturing the lens with amused expressions.
The future king has his mouth open, reflecting how much fun he’s having, while George raises his left hand to propel himself into the jump.
Louis, positioned between his father and brother, seems to be concentrating on the jump, while Charlotte, to the left of everything, is thoroughly enjoying the moment with her family.
They are all wearing casual clothes, perfect for a day at the beach.
Prince William is wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and pink swimsuit.
George is wearing a navy blue Nike T-shirt and matching pants; Charlotte is sporting floral shorts and a blue and white striped sailor sweater, and Louis is wearing a gradient tee in light blue tones and navy pants.
This is the second photo of William with his children on the beach that is published in less than a week.
Last Sunday, on the occasion of Father’s Day in the UK, Kensington Palace shared another image of George, Charlotte and Louis with their father, in a more bucolic setting.
In that photograph, the prince can be seen with his back turned, with the three children next to him: Charlotte to his left, and Louis and George to his right, embracing them with his arms.
On that occasion, it was the little ones who wrote a message dedicated to their father: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day.” They signed with the initials of each: G, C and L, marking the first time that the three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales published something on the social networks of Kensington Palace.
