Prince William is reportedly very angry with his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over their recent trip to Nigeria, which many are calling an “unofficial royal tour.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games, but their visit has caused controversy.
Prince William Furious Over Harry’s Nigeria Tour
A royal expert has shared that both Prince William and King Charles are unhappy with Harry and Meghan.
They believe the couple’s actions show that they are not accepting their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.
Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror, “William is absolutely furious and determined to find a way to stop this happening in future. Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him.”
According to the expert, what has upset the royal family the most is how the Nigerians treated Harry and Meghan like they were on an official tour.
They were greeted with dances, receptions, and visits to schools and charities.
Quinn added, “It’s as if Harry and Meghan have gone rogue – their Nigeria trip is a bold statement that they refuse to accept they are no longer working royals.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent three days in Nigeria, starting on Thursday, May 9. During their visit, they met with military officials, discussed mental health, and promoted the Invictus Games, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
While speaking at a school, Harry emphasized the importance of mental health.
He said, “In some places around the world, more than you would believe, there is a stigma against mental health. Too many people don’t want to talk about it because it’s invisible, it’s in your mind and we can’t see it. But guess what, every single person in this room, the youngest, the oldest, every single person has mental health. So therefore, you have to look after yourself in order to be able to help other people, other people have to look after themselves in order to be able to look after you. That’s the way it works.”
Harry also remembered his mother, Princess Diana, in a heartfelt speech about dealing with bad days, grief, and sadness.
This shows that Diana’s influence is still a significant part of his life.
