The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has returned home after undergoing abdominal surgery at the London Clinic.
The surprise health scare and subsequent operation, announced on January 17th, led to an extended break from royal duties to aid her recovery.

Now back at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor with Prince William and their three children, Kate continues to recuperate with the loving support of her doting husband.
“The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress,” begins the statement released by Kensington Palace on January 29.
Prince William has put royal engagements on hold to be by Kate’s side during this challenging period.
With the critical part of her recovery now over, William aims to help Kate get back on her feet at home.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold explained how William’s caring nature will ensure Kate is looked after “hand and foot.”
Harrold worked closely with the couple in the past and noticed William’s innate thoughtfulness. He expects this has only grown since starting a family with Kate.
The royal insider believes William himself will be Kate’s main caregiver rather than relying on staff, doing everything he can to nurture her back to full health.
“William will make sure Kate is cared for and that she has a quick recovery,” he told the New York Post.
Once settled, the pair look forward to resuming duties, likely after the Easter period depending on medical advice.
While the surgery came as a shock, the outpouring of well-wishes from royal fans brought comfort.

Kate and William are hugely grateful for the support.
Now faced with this health challenge, William continues to support his wife just as she has provided him strength during difficult times.
