The couple didn’t want to pass up the special date to continue the tradition of sharing a photo to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

William and Kate’s big wedding took place on April 29, 2011, at the iconic Westminster Abbey.
The ceremony was attended by members of various royal families, international dignitaries, political leaders, celebrities and close friends of the couple.
It was a huge event where thousands of people flocked to the streets of London to witness the historic event.
The religious ceremony was officiated by the Dean of Westminster, John Hall, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.
Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress
The highlight of the day was Kate Middleton’s incredible gown, designed by Sarah Burton of the British fashion house Alexander McQueen.
It was a long-sleeved French lace bodice dress, made with layers of ivory-colored tulle with a hand-embroidered flower cutout by the Royal School of Couture.
The princess crowned her head with the Halo Scroll tiara. A Cartier jewel was given to Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday in 1944 and is composed of 739 brilliant-cut diamonds and 149 baguette diamonds.
As for Prince William, he wore the dress uniform of the Irish Guards, in which he held the rank of lieutenant in the British Army.

This Monday, April 29, William and Kate shared a photo to celebrate their wedding anniversary in the midst of the Princess of Wales’ preventive chemotherapy treatment against cancer.
Through their social media accounts, Kensington Palace revealed an image after the religious ceremony.
The person in charge of immortalizing the tender moment was Millie Pilkington and the place chosen for the photo was one of the halls of Buckingham Palace, where the celebration took place.
In the image, in black and white, we see the couple looking very smiling at the camera, while the prince takes his wife by the waist.
The photo was accompanied by a short caption: “13 years ago today!”.
The photo immediately received a lot of support from online users, with many “likes” and nice comments wishing them a happy anniversary.
