During his visit to the Royal Cornwall Show, Prince William starred in an unexpected moment that went viral on social media.
While touring the event with his aunt, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, he approached a local cider stand selling Rattler, a brand famous in Cornwall for its alcoholic version.
Realizing that he was being offered a non-alcoholic version, William did not hesitate to humorously decline: “Oh no, no, no, no. I need an original,” he said with a laugh, earning applause from the audience.
The scene was captured on video and shared on TikTok, where it surpassed 724,000 views and has accumulated more than 34,000 likes.
Users praised the heir for being approachable and having a sense of humor, describing him as someone “in tune with ordinary people.” Phrases such as “future king has great banter” or “loves football and loves a drink” were used.
