The cards are on the table and the possibility that Prince William will be reunited with his brother Prince Harry is latent.
The Prince of Wales will travel to the United States to attend the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit to be held in New York on September 19.
It will be exactly one year after the funeral of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who passed away on September 8 but the funeral proceedings were extended until the 19th when she was buried in the royal crypt located at Windsor Castle.
Prince William’s trip to New York
Although the family rift between Princess Diana’s sons is far from closed, there is a slim chance that William and Harry will meet, especially since they are in the same country just a trip away.
However, taking into account the recent disputes between them some royal experts see unrealistic that there is a meeting between them.
Although, recently the British newspaper Express published the news of a rapprochement between the Duke of Sussex and Prince Harry.
The media reported that the youngest son of King Charles called William to offer a sort of “truce” as he plans to return to the UK.
The Express quotes a source from In Touch magazine as saying that Harry is beginning to wonder if they made the right decision to leave England.
They added: “He’s even suggested to Meghan that they return to London and the Royal Family. Harry admitted he’d phoned William to call a truce and told his brother he and Meghan would be open to going back to London, where they would serve King Charles.”
The source notes that William will “think about” his brother’s proposal.
