    Princess Anne has stunned social media with a tender tribute to her mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

    Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 96, leaving a huge void in the British royal family.

    Princess Anne was the last to say goodbye, accompanying her remains from Balmoral, Scotland, to London, where the funeral services were held.

    Princess Anne, the only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has always maintained a close relationship with her mother, whom she remembers with affection and respect. Her small gestures show that the Queen is still present in her heart and mind.

    Princess Anne always had a close relationship with her mother, with whom she shared a love of horses and a sense of duty.

    Now the Princess wanted to commemorate her in a very special way, by wearing the same coat that the Queen wore in 1996.

    It was July 2006 when the British royal family boarded the Hebridean Princess, a luxury cruise ship touring the Western Isles in the Scottish archipelago of the Hebrides.

    Queen Elizabeth II stepped off the ship wearing an elegant purple coat, black trousers and a silk scarf in her hair.

    The same coat was rescued by Princess Anne for a royal event.

    The princess has paired the coat with a purple skirt, black suede high boots and a scarf around her neck, following her mother’s style.

    Princess Anne’s gesture has not gone unnoticed by royal followers, who have praised her elegance and affection for Queen Elizabeth II.

    Several Instagram accounts dedicated to the British monarchy have highlighted the coat’s coincidence, receiving numerous comments of admiration.
