Princess Beatrice of York, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, made a surprise appearance at the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif.
The magnificent royal wedding took place on Thursday, June 1, at the Zahran Palace in Amman, the capital of the country. Numerous honorable guests showcased their finest attire, but it was the presence of Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter that truly stood out.

Princess Beatrice arrived at the ceremony accompanied by her husband, businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. For this special occasion, she opted for a stunning blue gown, the Celia dress, created by Needle & Thread, a British brand founded by Hannah Ruth Coffin.
The design featured layers of tulle with delicate light blue ruffles, adorned with intricate embellishments. It boasted long sleeves with sheer details and ruffled cuffs, exuding elegance.
Beatrice accentuated the ensemble with an elegant black belt, perfectly complementing the romantic embroidered flowers that adorned the dress. Her hairstyle featured a half updo, adorned with a black bow.

However, it was her second look that truly captured hearts with its memorable charm. Beatrice chose to wear a ball gown crafted by Reem Acra.
The satin fabric gown showcased long sleeves, a high neck, and ruffled sleeves, enhanced by sparkling sequins and crystals on the bodice. These exquisite details added sophistication and glamour to her attire.
One striking aspect of this look was Princess Beatrice’s decision to resurrect the York tiara. This stunning piece of jewelry was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip for Sarah Ferguson from the renowned London jeweler Garrard in 1986.
The modest yet nature-inspired York tiara, adorned with diamonds set in platinum, features a captivating five-carat diamond at its peak.
After Sarah Ferguson’s separation from Prince Andrew in the 1980s, the tiara remained unseen, as neither of her daughters chose it for their weddings. However, Beatrice was determined to bring it back to the limelight for this royal occasion.
Princess Beatrice’s repeated dress
Interestingly, another guest at the royal reception also wore the same Reem Acra dress that Princess Beatrice had chosen, adding an unexpected connection between attendees.
Princess Beatrice’s impeccable fashion choices and her decision to showcase the beloved York tiara made her presence at Jordan’s royal wedding truly memorable.
