Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, dazzled with her elegance and style at the Art of Wishes 2023 Gala held at the Raffles Hotel.
Accompanied by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the Princess attended this annual charity event in London, where works of art donated by various galleries, institutions and individuals are auctioned.
This year, for the first time, the gala partnered with the prestigious Christie’s auction house.
Princess Beatrice’s lace dress
Princess Beatrice wore a pastel blue lace gown with short sleeves, a ruffled skirt and a draped neckline.
The dress, by the brand Self-Portrait, is from last season’s collection, but the Princess chose to wear it for the first time at this event.
To complete her look, Beatrice paired the dress with pumps in the same shade and threw over her shoulders a white tweed jacket with silver trim, designed by Alice and Olivia, which she has worn on previous occasions.
The princess completed her look with a black leather clutch and wore her hair in a messy ponytail.
Despite the bespoke details of her outfit, some couldn’t help but be reminded of a similar style previously worn by Princess Kate Middleton.
In June 2017, Prince William’s wife wore an Alexander McQueen design to Royal Ascot, pairing it with nude pumps and a headpiece to match the dress.
While both princesses showed good taste and style in choosing these gowns, each knew how to put her own personality and style on her look.
Princess Beatrice showed her love for soft and romantic tones, while Kate Middleton opted for a more classic and sophisticated design.
