During the ceremony, Princess Beatrice, who on more than one occasion has spoken of the importance of her grandfather, could not contain herself and burst into tears during the religious service.
In one of the videos that are going around social networks, you can see how she tries to cover her face while crying and then her husband, puts a hand on her back to comfort her, she calms down, takes a breath and tries to take something out of her bag, presumably a handkerchief to dry her tears.

The Duke of Edinburgh was one of the most important people to the princess, in fact, he and Queen Elizabeth were the only ones who posed with her in the official photos of their wedding, which was held under the strictest biosecurity measures on July 17, 2020, in the midst of the pandemic.
Those photos showed the couple with the Duke and Queen at All Saints’ Chapel at Windsor Palace, the last royal wedding that Philip attended before his death.
For her wedding the princess wore a dress that belonged to the queen to which she made slight adjustments and the same tiara that Her Majesty wore at her marriage to the duke on November 20, 1947.
