Princess Charlotte is entering her teenage years with style and grace. At nine years old, she has begun making her own fashion statements, delighting royal watchers and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Last July 14, Charlotte attended the Wimbledon men’s final with her mother, Kate Middleton, and aunt, Pippa Middleton.

For the special occasion, she wore a lovely polka dot dress reminiscent of one her mother had worn to the same event two years earlier.
She completed her look with pink Ray-Ban sunglasses and a touch of lip gloss, displaying a growing sense of personal style.
Bethan Holt, Style Director of the Daily Telegraph, said Charlotte seemed to be undergoing a change in style, “like she’s transitioning from a sweet little girl in smocked floral dresses to a slightly more grown-up tween vibe.”
Charlotte’s dress, designed by American brand Guess, was paired with youthful accessories.
She wore her hair braided with a navy blue bow and handmade friendship bracelets.
As for footwear, the little princess chose white ballerinas by Papouelli, a brand beloved by the royal family.
For Nicole Robinson, co-founder of Papouelli, it was exciting to see Charlotte wearing her shoes.
Robinson explained that Charlotte has transitioned from wearing Mary Jane shoes to the more age-appropriate ballerina style.
The Missi ballerinas, which cost $125, are a favorite of the girls because of their comfort.
Although Charlotte is often seen in casual ensembles such as playsuits and Breton sweaters during everyday moments, her evolving style is more evident during formal events.
At the Coronation Concert in May 2023, she was seen wearing an ivory dress by Self Portrait, a brand favored by her mother and other royals.
The dress she wore to the concert featured a layered tiered skirt and sheer puffed sleeves with black bow detailing.
During King Charles’ coronation, Charlotte and her mother coordinated their outfits with matching silver and crystal flower crowns by Jess Collett and Alexander McQueen.
To date it has been Charlotte’s most formal public appearance.
For the occasion she wore her first bespoke Alexander McQueen couture piece.
Princess Kate’s cohesive and elegant style seems to be influencing Charlotte’s wardrobe choices.
For example, the Trooping the Colour event has had a nautical theme for the past two years.
Undoubtedly, experts say Princess Charlotte is dressed by the Princess of Wales, which is why she is always dressed up.
As Princess Charlotte grows older, her fashion choices will reflect her personal style and her mother’s elegance.
