Princess Charlotte’s last public appearance during Christmas has generated a stir on social media.
The young girl, daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, joined her family for the traditional Christmas walk and church service at Sandringham.
During this event, Charlotte and her siblings received a host of gifts from the attendees.
For the occasion, Princess Charlotte dazzled in a lovely tartan coat, but what really caught the eye was a necklace she was wearing, which has a curious link to her uncle, Prince Harry.
Princess Charlotte’s Necklace
This necklace, which has gone almost unnoticed, is a gold choker with small rubies from the brand Aya, a firm that no longer offers this piece but had a retail price of over $1,800 at the time.
So far, everything seems normal, right? However, the interesting thing is that this jewelry brand was founded by Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend.
Although the royal family has maintained a good relationship with Chelsy, the presence of this necklace has raised speculation among royal followers, who have interpreted the gesture as a kind of snub toward Meghan Markle.
The truth is that it is not yet known how this necklace arrived in Charlotte’s jewelry box; it could have been a purchase or, perhaps, a gift from the brand for the princess.
Chelsy Davy launched her brand in 2016, inspired by African designs and her love for the continent, from which she “ethically” sources gemstones, as mentioned on their website.

Her connection to Africa is strong, having spent a lot of time there since her childhood.
In fact, it was in Cape Town that she met Harry in 2004, kicking off a relationship that had several chapters before she decided it was best to part ways.
Her breakup with Prince Harry was amicable, which allowed her to be one of the guests at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.
Undoubtedly, the connection between Charlotte’s necklace and Chelsy Davy made this Christmas appearance even more memorable.
