There are many theories among royal fans, and one of them is that Meghan Markle wants to emulate Princess Diana. Before this theory there is a recent revelation that indicates that if Prince Harry‘s mother were alive she would not get along with the exactress.
Tina Brown, who was a close friend of Princess Diana gave some explosive revelations especially when Harry himself has made, on more than one occasion, some comparisons between his wife and his mother.
What did Princess Diana’s friend say about Meghan Markle?
In particular, Brown, Princess Diana’s good friend, revealed how the relationship between Meghan and her mother-in-law would have been.
According to Brown, Diana would not have seen with good eyes how Harry and Meghan decided to leave everything and move to the United States, nor would she have approved of her son distancing himself from his brother, Prince William and his father, Prince Charles.
“Diana was always very protective of her two sons, so she would have reacted with some anxiety to that move. I think Diana would feel that Meghan has led Harry in a direction that is not very positive for him. I’m not convinced that Diana would have been as big a fan of Meghan as Meghan seems to think,” she said in statements reported by The Daily Beast.
However, he clarified that the relationship between Diana and Meghan would at least have been cordial, based on the fact that Lady Di’s priority was the happiness of her children.
Brown added that Diana would also have loved inclusion and diversity in the royal family. “She was a very inclusive person,” he pointed out.
