Last words of Princess Diana
Despite the heavy impact on the vehicle, Princess Diana was still alive. A fireman who was in charge of the rescue operations was able to speak to the mother of Princes William and Harry.
Firefighter Xavier Gourmelon, was the one who attended Diana but he did not know who he was saving in the accident. He told that there was a moment when he had to massage the princess’ heart as she had stopped breathing but to the relief of the lifeguard, Diana started breathing again.
What were princess Diana’s last words
“My God, what happened?”, those were the last words spoken by Princess Diana, who was kept alive when she was taken to hospital, but at 4 a.m. she was pronounced dead after suffering cardiac arrest from multiple injuries, including a severed pulmonary vein.
Gourmelon later learned that the victim he rescued in the tunnel was Princess Diana, it was at that moment that it dawned on him that those were her last words.
Today, Princess Diana’s remains rest at the Diana Memorial, a cozy lakeside temple where her children can visit her in private.
