Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, has gradually resumed her official engagements following her cancer diagnosis.
Her public reappearance has been notable since events such as Trooping the Color in June and her presence at Wimbledon in July.
Most recently, Kate has once again captured the spotlight in Windsor, in a touching encounter with Liz Hatton, a young photography enthusiast who is battling a rare and aggressive cancer.
In the official accounts on social media, the Prince and Princess of Wales, an emotional image was shared where Kate embraces Hatton, accompanied by a message full of gratitude:
“A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us.” The text was formed with “W&C”.
What did Princess Kate wear at Windsor?
On that occasion, the princess chose an outfit that is already a favorite in her wardrobe: an elegant burgundy suit by Roland Mouret, which she has worn on several occasions since her debut in 2022.
This tailored suit, made in cady silk, stands out for its fitted blazer and palazzo-cut pants, creating a sophisticated and flattering figure for the princess.
Princess Kate with Temple of Heaven Yellow Gold Earrings
Kate accessorized it with earrings by designer Cassandra Goad, which have a deep meaning.
The earrings, in 9-karat yellow gold, are part of the jeweler’s “Journey to China” collection and are inspired by the Temple of Heaven, built during the Ming dynasty.
Their design, known as ‘girandole’, is distinctive for its elegance and symbolism, and is valued at $3,350.
The meeting with Liz Hatton was particularly significant, as Hatton, just 16 years old, is facing a battle with cancer, as is Kate.
Despite her delicate situation, the young woman has demonstrated her passion for photography by working with London’s Air Ambulance Charity, where Prince William, Kate’s husband, is a patron.
On this day, Liz was invited to capture images of the honorees at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.
