It has been revealed what Kate Middleton said after receiving a standing ovation at Wimbledon.

The presence of Princess Kate at the tennis tournament uncovered some emotional details. During the men’s final at the All England Club, Kate made her triumphant return by presenting the trophy to Carlos Alcaraz.

This was her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis last March.

Before the trophy presentation, the future Queen, accompanied by her daughter, Princess Charlotte, received a warm ovation upon arriving at the Royal Box on Centre Court to witness Alcaraz’s victory over Novak Djokovic.

What did Princess Kate Middleton say at Wimbledon?

A lip reader has disclosed what they said during that sweet moment. According to Jeremy Freeman, a lip-reading expert, Kate told Charlotte to “come over here” as they took their seats. She then thanked the lady who accompanied them and waved to the crowd.

While observing the audience applauding, Kate also greeted the spectators. Later, she descended from the stands to the playing surface to fulfill her duties as the patron of the All England Club, which hosts the annual tournament.

She even shook hands with some of the ball boys and girls who worked at the event and exchanged words with both players.

Finally, she applauded Alcaraz after presenting him with the winner’s trophy for the second consecutive year.
