Princess Kate has been showered with praise online for her “elegance” and timeless sense of style, as she remains largely out of the public eye after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
This past Sunday, Kate was seen in a rare public outing in Scotland. Photographed alongside Prince William, she was on her way to church at the Balmoral Castle estate, where the couple has been staying with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Since becoming king, Charles has continued the long-standing tradition of hosting extended family members at Balmoral for the national holiday weekend in late August.
Back in January, Kate stepped back from her royal duties to undergo a scheduled abdominal surgery, and in March, she revealed her cancer diagnosis.
Despite her ongoing chemotherapy treatments, Kate reappeared in public in June at the Trooping the Colour ceremony and later attended the Wimbledon men’s tennis final in July.
In an update shared in June, she expressed her hope to work from home and gradually increase her public appearances over the summer.
While new sightings of Kate have been rare, her devoted fans have taken to social media to celebrate her past appearances.
A TikTok compilation posted by user luguape4 features clips of Kate from various significant events and has already been viewed over 100,000 times.
Some of the most-loved clips in the video show Kate attending the royal Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle.
Over the years, she has attended this event wearing a series of sophisticated coat dresses by Catherine Walker & Co., a designer favored by the late Princess Diana. This year, however, Kate was notably absent due to her ongoing cancer treatment.
Another memorable moment featured in the TikTok compilation is Kate’s formal solo visit to Denmark in 2022. This trip was part of her work focusing on early childhood development.
During her visit, she met with then-Crown Princess Mary (now Queen Mary) and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. For this occasion, she chose a menswear-inspired coat dress from Catherine Walker & Co.
