Having completed her first military training at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, Princess Leonor is preparing for her next challenge: the Naval Academy of Marín.
This Tuesday, accompanied by her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, Leonor received a warm welcome in what will be her home for the next few months.

The main reason for the visit was the delivery of Royal Dispatches to the new officers of the Navy.
“Welcome, your highness, to what will always be your home”, expressed with emotion the commander director of the members of the Navy, Pedro Cardona Suanzes.
Leonor will train in these facilities for three months and, in January, she will embark on the ship Juan Sebastián Elcano for a six-month training cruise, just as her father did.
Knowing well what awaits her, King Felipe VI wanted to dedicate a few words to his daughter in a private act.
During a brief speech accompanying a toast, Felipe congratulated Leonor on becoming an ensign in the Army.
“But as of tomorrow, right?” he remarked, looking around to make sure he was saying the right thing. “Already a first group midshipman, so congratulations, Leonor,” he added excitedly, as the princess smiled shyly.
Faced with the nerves of the moment, Leonor sought the gaze of her mother, who watched her proudly and clapped her hands softly, tapping the wine glass with her ring.
It was a significant day for the princess, who had the opportunity to get to know the emblematic sailing ship of the Navy, where she will sail with her third-year classmates.
Leonor will become the fourth generation of the Bourbons to be educated in the Galician town of Marin, following in the footsteps of her great-grandfather, Don Juan, her grandfather, Juan Carlos I, and her father, Felipe VI.
After completing her training at the Naval Academy, she will become a frigate ensign, adding this merit to her experience in the Army and paving the way for her future at the Academy of San Javier, in Murcia, where she will continue her training in the Air Force.
