The future Queen of Spain took advantage of a holiday in her country to party like an adult.
Princess Leonor went out to a nightclub last Friday night, December 1, taking advantage of a leave of absence from the Military Academy of Zaragoza, where she is completing her military training.
Accompanied by eight friends, Princess Leonor and her group went to a nightclub in the Spanish capital.
Once inside, they were in a VIP area where they enjoyed the DJ’s music without being seen by the rest of the club’s patrons.
A Spanish television program called ‘Fiesta’ revealed all the details of the princess’ night.
They reported that only a waiter had access to the place where Leonor and her friends were.
Throughout the evening, Princess Leonor was accompanied by her security detail, who protected her throughout the night.
According to the TV program, the venue was “bursting at the seams with security,” highlighting the huge security apparatus put in place to protect the heiress to the Spanish throne.
Leonor and her friends drank vodka with lemon soda. According to the program, the princess was discreet, did not draw attention to herself and danced, had fun and laughed with her group of friends.
Half an hour before closing time, Princess Leonor and her group left the disco to go to the Zarzuela Palace.
The princess proved that she was up to her role as heir to the throne and that she could handle the media expectations that surround her public persona.
