Princess Leonor has just experienced one of those moments that mark a turning point.
For the first time, she appeared in Navarra, officially exercising her title as Princess of Viana, a title she has held since 2014 but had not had the opportunity to use in an official capacity until now. She did so accompanied by her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, amidst great anticipation.

In Viana, she was greeted with applause, cheers, and a lot of affection. We saw her enter the Town Hall, sign the guest book, and greet the crowd from the balcony, as the residents eagerly awaited her debut.

She didn’t just stick to protocol: she went out into the streets, walked among the people, responded with smiles, and even made some friendly gestures, showing the closeness that is often recognized in her.

But the most revealing moment occurred in Pamplona, during the signing of the Book of Honor. There, Leonor expressed in words what this title means to her:
“I have great respect and esteem for what this title of Princess of Viana means… it commits me and makes me responsible for understanding its historical and symbolic significance even more.”

This phrase shows that it is no longer just an inherited position, but a commitment made in the first person.

The interesting aspect of this debut is how Leonor moved naturally, projecting the image of a relatable heiress who can connect with people on the street. I believe it is this duality that makes her special.
