Princess Leonor has reached a new milestone while training as a lady cadet at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza.
At 18 years old, the heiress to the Spanish throne has obtained her driving license, adding a valuable skill while training at the Military Academy of Zaragoza.
Princess Leonor’s driver’s license
Although driving is not essential to her military training, the princess decided to take the exam of her own free will, demonstrating the Princess’ determination to acquire as many skills as possible during her time at the military academy.
According to close sources, Leonor voluntarily prepared herself for the theoretical driving test even before entering the Academy by signing up to the driving school to advance in her classes.
Now, in Zaragoza, she has been able to continue with her driving studies to finally obtain her driver’s license.
With this new achievement, there is speculation about the possibility of seeing Leonor driving during her upcoming summer stays in Mallorca.
Following family tradition, it would not be surprising if she receives a vehicle as a gift from her parents, just as King Felipe VI received a golden Seat Ibiza from his father, King Juan Carlos I, on his 18th birthday.
Outstanding student
Since entering the Academy on August 17, Leonor has been treated as just another student, abiding by military rules and discipline, but without losing sight of her duty for Spain.
Military sources consulted emphasize that the education received by Leonor and her awareness of her service to the nation make her one of the best-trained heirs to the throne in Europe.
Her involvement in activities such as the Military Academies Sports Championship, where she won medals in volleyball and fencing, demonstrates her commitment to integral development.
Obtaining her driver’s license gives Princess Leonor yet another new experience at the age of 18.
