This Tuesday, August 6, Princess Leonor surprised everyone by being spotted driving a car in Mallorca.

The heir to the throne, who obtained her driver’s license this year while receiving training at the Military Academy of Zaragoza, showed off her driving skills during an afternoon of shopping.

Accompanied by her mother, Queen Letizia, her grandmother, Queen Emeritus Sofia, and her sister, Infanta Sofia as co-driver, the young princess starred in one of the most talked-about moments of her stay in Mallorca.

he passion for driving seems to be hereditary, as Leonor has followed in her father’s footsteps by getting her driving license and making her debut in Mallorca.

King Felipe VI, a great car enthusiast, received at the age of eighteen a golden Seat Ibiza, a special gift from his father, King Juan Carlos I.

Leonor’s appearance behind the wheel has marked a new milestone on her way to adulthood and her responsibilities as a future queen.

This image has reinforced the idea of a modern, poised and approachable princess, capable of taking on active roles within the royal family.

Leonor continues to win over the press and the public, consolidating herself as a key figure in the Spanish monarchy.
