Since Princess Leonor began her military training, she has made it clear that she is more than willing to fully integrate herself into the life of the Naval Academy, both inside and outside the classroom.
The young heiress to the Spanish throne seems to be living this experience with enthusiasm, forming solid bonds with her fellow students.
Princess Leonor’s First Outing with Naval Academy Peers
Last Thursday, August 29, Leonor, the eldest daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, officially began her preparation at the Naval Academy in Marin.
Just two days later, the princess was seen enjoying a social outing with a group of fourteen classmates at the restaurant called Tapería D’Elvi, near the beach of Meira, in the area of Moaña, Pontevedra.
This place, known for its Galician cuisine with a modern touch, was the scene of the first social outing of the future Queen with her new friends.
The visit did not go unnoticed, as the restaurant’s employees shared a photo on Instagram where they are seen posing with Leonor and the rest of the group, all dressed in their impeccable white Navy uniforms.
In the image, five restaurant workers joined the group, wearing proud smiles for having the princess in their establishment.
What did Princess Leonor eat?
As reported by the local newspaper ‘El Diario de Vigo’, the princess and her companions enjoyed a delicious dinner with typical Galician dishes: they started with starters of omelette, squid and croquettes, and followed with succulent grilled meat.
It was a relaxed and enjoyable occasion, in which Leonor was able to share time outside the military environment, strengthening her relationship with her colleagues.

It is not the first time that the daughter of the King and Queen of Spain has been seen enjoying more relaxed moments during her military training.
Just a week after entering the Military Academy of Zaragoza to begin her first year with the Army, she was seen walking through the center of the city and visiting ‘El Tuno’, an emblematic bar in the university area.
Since then, there have been many occasions in which the daughter of the King and Queen of Spain has demonstrated her ability to relate normally with her classmates, always showing closeness and naturalness.
