The heiress to the throne has already taken a significant step forward in her military training: flying the Pilatus PC-21 over the Mar Menor. As confirmed by Spanish journalist Pedro Jota Fernández on the program ‘D Corazón,’ although it generated some respect, Leonor completed this important phase of her training at the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier.
The Swiss advanced training aircraft, capable of reaching speeds of 685 kilometers per hour, serves as a preliminary step before military pilots transition to combat fighter jets.

Academy sources confirm that Felipe and Letizia’s daughter prefers to remain in the background. She positions herself in the back rows during formations to avoid standing out and rejects any form of privilege over her peers.
The instructors barely notice her presence, and she seems comfortable with that. This discretion contrasts with the greater visibility she had during her previous stages in Marín and Zaragoza.

She is currently undergoing the most demanding phase of her military training, which explains why she spends long hours studying in her room.
She is rarely seen around San Javier, although she may make a public appearance during the festivities of the Virgen de Loreto on December 10, if the Royal Household authorizes it.

Meanwhile, she continues to participate in survival and endurance exercises in hostile environments with the rest of her class.
