We have great news! On June 3, Princess Leonor will receive the Gold Medals from the Region of Murcia, the Regional Assembly, and the municipality of San Javier, along with the title of Honorary Daughter of the town.
This is the farewell protocol that the autonomous communities have followed during her three years of military training, just as Aragon and Galicia did when the heiress completed her training in Zaragoza and Marín.

Murcia aims to acknowledge Leonor’s time at the General Air Academy, where she has spent nearly a year completing particularly demanding training, including air navigation, maneuvers, exams, and her recent parachute training.

It’s worth noting that this event in San Javier will hold a particularly emotional significance, as it has been her “home” during this phase.

After receiving these honors, Leonor will undertake her final maneuvers and exams before officially concluding her three-year military training across land, sea, and air in July.

Starting in September, the heir to the throne will embark on a new chapter: her degree in Political Science at the Carlos III University of Madrid, transitioning from military life to university studies.
