The presence of Princess Leonor at the solemn opening of the XV Legislature of the Spanish Parliament on November 29th drew all eyes, not only because of the importance of the event but also because of the impeccable look she chose for the occasion.
Just turned 18, the heiress to the throne reappeared and is already beginning to show that she has inherited the fashion taste of her mother, Queen Letizia.
Princess Leonor in a green dress and camel coat
Leonor opted for an elegant green dress by Adolfo Domínguez, one of Queen Letizia’s favorite Spanish designers. According to the brand, it is a box neck design, cape sleeve, pockets on the side of maxi length with central opening and stitching detail.
This garment is available in two colors; green and black and costs 249 euros (about US$273 at the current exchange rate).
The dress was combined with camel-colored accessories that gave it a sophisticated touch: Vivian heeled pumps by Hugo Boss, a Carolina Herrera coat that Queen Letizia wore recently on her trip to Germany, and the iconic Mini Dogma Insignia Satchel by the same brand that the Queen also usually carries.
As jewelry, she wore rose gold earrings with diamonds and emeralds from Gold&Roses that she also borrowed from her mother, matching her dress.
As an additional element, Leonor wore the medals of the Cortes that she received when she took the oath of the Constitution last October 31.
With this look, Leonor demonstrated a style inspired by her mother, based on simple but elegant designs and a harmonious color palette, something she has undoubtedly learned at home.
In short, in her first solo opening of the Legislature, Leonor displayed her fashionista skills with a look appropriate for the occasion but without leaving aside her personality.
A style that gives us a glimpse of her future image as queen: modern but timeless.
