Princess Leonor in New York
Upon arrival in New York, Queen Sofia and Princess Leonor will experience an emotional reunion.
According to reports in the Spanish press, the Royal House is organizing an institutional event at the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute in Manhattan, where both will share the limelight.
This event will be special, as it will be the first time that grandmother and granddaughter participate together without the presence of King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
Leonor will spend about three days in New York before returning to Spain to continue her education.
Finally, on July 7, she is expected to board the Elcano again to complete her journey home.
