Following the ceremony, Margarita Robles held a meeting with Princess Leonor, which marked an important milestone in the military training of the heir to the throne.
Minister Robles, who has closely overseen Leonor’s training at the General Military Academy in Zaragoza, reaffirmed her support for the young princess at this crucial stage of her career.
After its stay in Uruguay, the Juan Sebastián de Elcano will continue its itinerary through the Americas, with stops in Chile, Peru, and Colombia, before returning to Spain on July 21, 2025.
