With each appearance, Leonor has managed to capture the public’s attention and has established herself as a model of maturity and responsibility, exactly what is expected of the future queen of Spain.
However, while most see her as the perfect image of a young woman ready to take on great responsibilities, it seems that her mother, Queen Letizia, has some concerns.
Leonor’s Independence Concerns Letizia
According to the Dutch press, specifically Royalty, there is an aspect of Leonor’s behavior that is causing the queen discomfort.
The media points out that the “relaxed behavior” of the princess is what is generating tension.
Letizia, known for being a meticulous and very demanding person with herself and her environment, is concerned that Leonor is spending more and more time away from the Zarzuela.
The independence Leonor has gained is not only limited to her professional life, but also extends to her personal life.
For example, the publication mentions that Leonor secretly attended a Taylor Swift concert, took a trip to New York to visit her supposed best friend and when in Zaragoza enjoyed going out dancing in nightclubs.
This new facet of independence does not seem to please Queen Letizia very much, according to the media.
