The visit of King Felipe VI, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía to the Madrid Grand Prix provided one of those family moments that let us see the sisters from a less formal side. Between the track and the Formula 1 drivers, the two young women enjoyed a much more relaxed outing and, incidentally, showcased quite different styles.
Leonor opted for a fresh combination in light tones. She wore a sleeveless pink top with a V-neck, buttons, and a small ruffle at the waist, paired with wide-leg white pants.
She finished the look with a white bag, a Tiffany & Co. pendant, and white wedge espadrilles from Mint & Rose. Her hair, worn loose with soft waves, gave her that relaxed vibe that was perfect for the occasion.
Sofia, on the other hand, opted for an all-white outfit consisting of a flowing long-sleeved blouse and wide-leg pants. A brown Zara belt broke up the monochrome and defined her waist, while Massimo Dutti flats and a Mango bag completed the look.
She also wore her hair down, parted in the middle, and her Karen Hallam ring. Two simple looks, but with details that reveal their personal preferences.
For me, what’s also interesting is the phase the two of them are going through right now. Their paths are starting to move at different paces, and they no longer align as much as they used to. Leonor has just begun a new chapter at university in Madrid, while Sofía is continuing her studies in Paris.
That’s why it’s especially intriguing to see them enjoy a family outing without the usual burden of protocol. Formula 1, as it turned out, was the perfect setting to showcase this more personal side of them.
