Leonor’s appearance on January 6th may be one of the last we see for quite some time. Zarzuela is clear that the heiress needs to focus on completing her military training without distractions, so don’t expect to see her at official events until June or July.
The strategy is simple: maintain a low profile until she completes her training at the General Air Force Academy in San Javier, Murcia.

Sources close to the Royal Household confirm that Leonor has no public engagements scheduled for the coming months, unless an exceptional circumstance or an internal royal family event arises.
The goal is for her to focus on the final stretch of her training with the Air and Space Force without the media constantly hounding her every two weeks. It’s the same approach they took when she was at the other military academies.

Zarzuela wants this period to proceed normally and discreetly. No media attention, no extra pressure. The priority is for Leonor to complete this phase of her military training without interruption, reinforcing the image of institutional commitment they have been building since she began her military education.
It’s an approach that makes sense when you consider the pressure she already faces as heir to the throne.

When summer arrives, everything will change. Leonor will receive the decoration from the Region of Murcia and will resume her more active public schedule.
By then, she will have completed this military phase and can return to her institutional commitments with that chapter closed. So we’ll have to wait until June or July to see her back on the front lines.
