Princess Leonor de Borbón is preparing to face a new and intense week of military instruction and training.
It will be the first week of February, from 3 to 9, when the heiress to the throne will participate along with the rest of the first-year cadets of the General Military Academy of Zaragoza in this fundamental phase for their training as future officers of the Army.

It is known from the Army that during these days Leonor will carry out a wide range of activities such as marches on foot, topographical tours, and shooting exercises with assault rifles and pistols in simulator and combat track.
She will also train in command of small units, specifically binomials, and squads, as she is in her first course at the academy.
All this dressed in full military uniform and carrying their equipment and weapons, the HK G36 assault rifle.
An intense instruction with which she will acquire valuable skills as a combatant before starting the next academic term.
Sources close to the General Military Academy assure that the heiress to the throne is treated as one more student, without distinctions or privileges due to her condition as princess, and emphasize that she is a brilliant student.
In this way, Leonor continues with her full integration in the military institution, where she attends her university studies before assuming her responsibilities as future head of state.
