When Princess Leonor returns to Spain, she will face an intense few weeks.
The heir to the throne has been in Wales for almost two months since she began her second year of International Baccalaureate classes at UWC Atlantic College.
When will Princess Leonor’s vacation be?
The eldest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia will begin her autumn vacation on October 28 and will return to Spain to preside over the Princess of Asturias Awards in Oviedo and the best thing about this vacation is that she will be able to be with her family to celebrate her 17th birthday.
It is unknown if Leonor will arrive in Spain a day earlier to attend the traditional concert of the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, as the central event, the Princess of Asturias Awards will be held on October 28 at the Campoamor theater in Oviedo.
The entire royal family will remain in Asturias until Sunday, October 30, when they will present the Exemplary Village Award, which on this occasion has gone to Cadavedo, a parish of Valdés.
Princess Leonor’s 17th Birthday
On Monday, October 31, Princess Leonor will face a very special day: her birthday. The young girl will celebrate her 17th birthday, probably surrounded by the love of her family. It is not known if she will invite her mysterious friend.
After the celebration of her birthday, the older sister of the Infanta Sofia will continue to enjoy her days off in Spain until Sunday, November 6, when she will have to return to the boarding school to continue her classes.
